Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of Mangakaka, a free collectible card game featuring anime, manhwa and webtoon characters, currently in beta. By creating an account, you accept them.

2. Unofficial fan project

Unofficial fan project. Characters and works belong to their respective rights holders. Data and images: AniList.

3. Account

  • You sign in with a Google account. One Mangakaka account per person.
  • You must be at least 15 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Your username must not be offensive or hateful, or impersonate the team or another person.
  • You can export your data or delete your account at any time from the Account page.

4. Virtual currencies and items

Coins, Crystals, boosters and cards are game items. They are not your property: you have a personal right to use them within the game. They have no monetary value, are neither refundable nor convertible into money, and cannot be sold or bought outside the game. Crystals cannot be traded between players.

5. Boosters and odds

The contents of a booster are drawn at random by our servers. The odds for each rarity and each variant are published on the Drop rates page.

6. No real-money purchases

Mangakaka is completely free. No currency, booster or card can be bought with real money: Coins and Crystals can only be earned by playing (free boosters, missions, achievements, duels, referrals). Crystals give access to premium boosters. Characters and works belong to their rights holders; the game makes no revenue from them.

7. Code of conduct

  • No harassment, insults, or hateful, discriminatory or sexual content.
  • No cheating: third-party software, deliberate exploitation of bugs, automated actions.
  • No multiple accounts, in particular to take advantage of referrals or trades.
  • No selling, buying or trading of accounts, cards or currencies for real money.
  • No scams in trades or on the market.

You can report a message or a player from the messaging page or their profile.

8. Sanctions

In case of a breach, the team may, depending on its severity: remove items obtained irregularly, prevent you from sending messages for a limited time (mute), or suspend or close the account. A sanction does not entitle you to any refund of virtual items, unless required by law. You can contest a sanction by writing to zach.frechin@gmail.com.

9. Beta

The service is provided as is during its beta phase. Outages, bugs and balance adjustments (prices, odds, stats) may occur. The team may correct data distorted by a bug.

10. Intellectual property

The characters, names and visuals of the works belong to their rights holders. Character and work data comes from AniList. The code, art direction and texts specific to Mangakaka belong to the publisher. A rights holder can request the removal of content on the Copyright page.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change significantly, the new version will be shown to you and you will need to accept it to keep playing.
